Very rare genuine natural color "hong" (honey/red) Burmese jadeite "old mine" bangle bracelet. Size is 55 mm inside diameter, slender 11.7 mm wide. The overall appearance and qi energy is "yin" very pale green, and "yang" the darker "hong" with green. "Hong" is related to the heart meridian, love, compassion, peace, joy. Very well polished all around. Perfect condition, no chips, scratches. High "chime" indicates the fine natural jadeite stone quality. This is very "old mine" Burmese jadeite, rarely available today. It will also increase in value due to the rareness.

Photos taken in natural daylight at different angles so you can see how it looks all around. There is moderate translucence the photo doesn't show that gives it a "glow". Also, the side opposite the "hong" has very small lavender hues that show in darker lighting.

Tested by refraction, genuine Burmese jadeite. Purchased during YYJ shopping trip in China near the Burma border in 2002 directly from the jade carver, who bought, carved and sold only genuine and natural Burmese jadeite, mostly to Asian people, not for export. That's because of the rarity of this natural color and how much it is valued and cherished in China and Asia.
